Simple Alchemy™ Pork

1/4 bottle Sensei Sauce

1 pound favorite pork—steak, chops, et al in your favorite pan.

Heat Sensei Sauce and bring to a low boil until the right consistency for either dipping or a glaze is achieved.

Cook pork in pan with a little olive oil.

Add glaze and stir until all pork coated and
darkened slightly.

Serve over rice or noodles. mmmmm

Kalbi Ribs

2-5 lb – Kalbi short ribs

1 Tbsp Sesame seeds

1/4 cup Sesame oil

1/2 cup Sensei Sauce

Wash and rinse kalbi short ribs.

In a large mixing bowl mix Sensei Sauce and Sesame oil.

Whip until well blended.

Add kalbi short ribs into bowl and mix until meat is thoroughly coated – marinade
for 1/2 hour or longer (over night is ok too).

In large cast iron pan heat oil to coat the pan (medium high heat).

Add kalbi in strips to cover pan when oil is hot turning frequently until done.

Put in serving pan over rice or plain and cover lightly with Sesame seeds.

Sprinkle with cayenne pepper for a spicy hot version.

Serve with Kim Chee.

Spam Musubi

Precook rice; we recommend sushi rice. For this recipe we used one cup raw rice and the amount of water called for in instructions.

Mix: 2 Tbs Sugar, 3 Tbs rice vinegar, 1/2 tsb salt

Heat all ingredients in sauce pan over medium heat until dissolved and mixture is clear.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Fold into cooked rice.

Slice meat from can of Spam about 1/4″ thick.

Fry in pan with Sensei Sauce to taste.

Cut sheet of nori into 2″ x 4′ or 6″ strips.

Put cooled rice on flat surface and flatten to 3/4″ thick.

Use Spam can to cut out bricks of rice.

Place brick of rice on nori, place cooked Spam on rice, wrap up and enjoy!

Can dip in Sensei Sauce if desired.

Sensei Pork & Apples

2 Small boneless pork chops, thinly sliced

1 Large apple (preferably tart and crisp), thinly sliced

2 Garlic cloves, minced

3 Tbsp Sensei Sauce

2 Pats of butter

Melt butter in pan on medium heat.

Add sliced apple and garlic and sauté until apple starts to break down.

Add 1 Tbsp Sensei Sauce and stir.

Add pork and sauté until pork is cooked, yet still tender.

Add 1 Tbsp Sensei Sauce and stir until Sensei Sauce caramelizes.

Add last Tbsp of Sensei Sauce and mix before serving. Goes great with mashed potatoes!

Sensei-Sensation Burrito

1-2 lbs chicken or substitute with Steak/Shrimp/Tofu/Tempe

1 – bag frozen corn or 2 ears fresh (strip kernels)

1 – Can black or pinto beans

1 – large tomato—chopped

1– lemon—for zest and juice

2 – leaves chopped kale

10 – corn or wheat soft tortilla

Shredded Jack CheeseSauté’ chicken in Sensei Sauce in and open pan until liquid caramelizes.

In the pan shred chicken and stir until completely covered in glaze.

Heat corn and add to sauté.

Squeeze in lemon and stir.

Heat tortilla and place on plate, add sauté’, beans, chopped tomato, kale, and shredded jack cheese.

Add zest and extra Sensei Sauce to taste.

Sensei Burger

2-3 lbs – lean beef (20% or less fat)

1 cup Sensei Sauce

1 tbls chopped ginger

3 cloves garlic—chopped

1 large onion

1/4 lbs mushrooms

Sliced Jack Cheese

Place hamburger in mixing bowl.

Add Sensei Sauce and mix well.

Add ginger and garlic

Let stand and mix again

Sauté’ onions, two cloves garlic and sliced mushrooms in oiled or buttered pan add 3 tablespoons Sensei Sauce and finish—set aside

Make patties and grill or pan fry.

Place on bun and garnish with Sensei Sauté’ (onions/mushrooms)

Add jack cheese & lettuce or kale

Sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
